Why I Like Poetry

I like poetry because I treat them like short stories. Even within a form, you can mold it to make it into YOUR poem.
I like to treat my poems like short stories because it makes them more fun to read. When you read a poem it’s like there’s a cinema going on in your subconscious.

i like the poem occupation by Suji Kwock Kim. i didnt understand the whoe poem, but thats why i would like to talk about it more. I loved how much imagery she used. It really makes me think about what our soldiers go through and how they deserve all respect.

The poem that i liked is "Occupation" it leaves you wondering because it's so much stuff going on in this poem that you don't know where to start. It would be good for all three schools to discuss this poem because it show a lot of differnt things. This poem "Occupation" by Suji Kwock KIm

Why I like poetry

I like poetry because it’s a different way to express your feelings without it being as long as a story. I like the way how it flows depending on the readers voice. I have always wrote so writing poetry will just be another way to express my feelings in a different writing format. With poetry being short, I can easily take one part from the poem and it can describe the whole point of the poem.
Hello , my name is Ta'Coya . I like poetry because it helps me express how I feel. It gives me a better way to connect with others and for people to understand me & what I go through .

I like poetry because its just a way to express my feelings. A way to let go of everything. When you write poetry you  don’t have to worry about you writing  something wrong because its how you feel.

I like poetry because you can express yourself and your feelings. No one cane judge you about the way you write or anything because it’s your own way. I feel like I’m free when I write and I have nothing to worry about. Poetry helps me with that.
