  1. Hi my name is Rebecca and i go to Paseo Academy. Why I like poetry is that of me being able to express my feelings on paper and to my friends and family. Poetry is my way of life and I honestly don’t know what I would do without it.

  5. I would like to discuss "On Death" by Maurice Manning because it is one of the original topics discussed in great readings threw out time. I also would like to discuss this because it is the 2nd biggest question threw out life only 2nd to how we were created. So this is why i believe we should discuss "On Death" by Maurice Manning.

  7. I like poetry because poetry lets you make art with words!

Poetry is to literature what jazz is to music-- With poetry you can experiment with form, rhythm, rhyme, descriptive language, figurative language. You can capture a moment or a feeling, or tell a story.

    Poetry is language without limits!
